We have noticed that trees older than ten years will bloom at every terminal bud. Other ornamental characteristics include dense form and medium texture. Claudia develops into a medium broad pyramid. Leaves persist for two years. Claudia is particularly suited for northern plantings because horizontal branching gives her the ability to withstand snow and ice. Claudia was introduced in 1956 and is more in demand than ever. In addition to being a fine-looking selection, Claudia also behaves well. She owes much of her popularity in the industry to the reliability of her performance through the transplant period. |
